St Mary's Preparatory School Fee Schedule

We offer a straightforward and transparent fee structure, enabling families to plan ahead. Lunches and after school clubs run by our teachers, are included in our fees.

We are a family school for boys and girls, offering a sibling discount of 5% on the second, and subsequent children’s fees.

The fees shown are per term, for entry in School Year 2023/2024. There are three terms per school year.

Scholarships and Bursaries

Scholarships

Scholarships are made annually to recognise excellence and outstanding performance in Academia, Sports, Performing Arts, Music and Art & Design.

These are awarded by the school based on merit, performance and attitude. There is no application process, an award is made at the discretion of the Head based on our internal annual assessments.

Bursaries

We may award bursaries where there is a financial need, for children from Year 1 upwards. Bursaries are awarded from one term through to a full year.

Additional information

  • When your child starts with us, you will be invoiced in advance for each term. Fees are paid termly by Direct Debit on and around 1st of the month. (Direct Debit Online Form)

  • The invoice you receive will cover the term’s fees.

  • All non-fee related items are purchased via our Cognita Connect parent app. This includes school trips, extra curricular activities and wrap around clubs.

  • If you are having difficulty paying the fees in three instalments, please see the link below for an alternative payment arrangement.

International pupil fees

We regularly welcome international pupils from a variety of countries to join our school community

International families choose St Mary's Preparatory School because of our commitment to academic excellence, character development, global perspectives, and British values, as well as our excellent exam results and strong focus on wellbeing.

All students – British, EU and international – are charged the same fees, regardless of nationality or immigration status.

International pupils who receive an offer to study at St Mary's Preparatory School will be asked to accept their place by completing and returning an acceptance form and paying a deposit equal to one term’s fees.

The international deposit will be returned at the end of a student’s time at the school, providing appropriate notice has been given and all fees have been settled.
