Year 4 trip away

Year 4 had a fantastic time on their residential trip to the Black Country and Ironbridge. The teaching staff who joined the children on this adventure were once again struck at how important these trips are for our pupils. Not just from an educational perspective of learning through first hand experiences but also in terms of ‘character education’ where traits such as resilience, self-regulation and emotional and social skills can be developed. Staff were very proud to hear the residential centre staff speak so highly of our pupils and marvel at their knowledge, their enthusiasm, their focus, their commitment and desire to do well in addition to the care and support they demonstrate to each other.
