We had a wonderful time in school, celebrating the Jubilee with a street party lunch, crown design competition and crown parade.

We were really impressed with the children’s incredible crown creations and enjoyed a very regal crown parade, with the children displaying their crowns to friends, and practising their royal waves!

There were origami crowns, petal and eco crowns, punk and lighting up crowns, rainbow and tie-die crowns!  Tinsel, bees, Lego and feathers – the children really used their imagination.

The children were all given a commemorative Platinum Jubilee medal, and also the gift of a tree sapling from the new Mayor of Henley.
