We all really enjoyed our recent French Day, it was a day packed with amazing activities, delicious food and lots of fun.
Children enjoyed an art lesson inspired by Monet’s lily pads, producing their own collaborative impressionist pieces, made Bastille Day rosettes and took part in a mime workshop.
There were lots of Eiffel Towers in school – made with spaghetti and marshmallows, coloured in, cut out – towers everywhere!
We also took a trip to the Tour de France – with races in the playground, jersey designs and bunting making.
Petanque in the playground quickly became very competitive, particularly when the children were playing against our Headmaster!
