Our children made a very special Easter delivery to the residents at Henley’s Manor Care Home recently.
Our Year 1 and Year 2 pupils had made some gorgeous Easter cards, with bouncing bunnies and Easter chicks, to send their best wishes to the residents and to let them know that we are thinking of them.
It was lovely to meet the residents – at a distance from the doorstep – and we could see how much joy our children brought with their beaming smiles and cards filled with thoughtful messages. We know that during the past year many people have been unable to visit their relatives and grandparents, and that it is more important than ever to find ways to connect.
We are looking forward to further opportunities to visit Henley Manor Care Home, and will keep you updated on our activities!
