Admissions Process

Follow these three simple steps to apply for a place at St Mary’s and to accept that place should one be offered.

Step 1

Book a Visit

We would be delighted to welcome you into the school for a Covid-safe personal tour, an opportunity to see for yourself what makes our school so special.

Step 2

Registration

The first step in our application process is to register your child.

Please download and complete the registration form on this page. In addition to submitting your form, we require a non-refundable £75 registration fee. Details of how to pay this can be found on the registration form.

Step 3

Offering a Place

If your application is successful, we will arrange a taster day for your child and assuming that is a success, send you an offer of a place. This will include a letter specifying your child’s start date, a contract that you will need to sign and return to us, and all the fees information. In addition to returning these documents, you will be asked to pay a refundable £500 deposit. Completing and returning these documents, and paying the deposit, confirms acceptance of your place.

A place will be held open for three weeks from the date of the offer letter, after which time it may be offered to another family.

Please note: The £500 deposit will be refunded to you in your child’s final term of school (usually Year 6). You will also be refunded the deposit provided you give us one term’s notice that your child is leaving St Mary’s, or at the end of Year 6.
