Zimbabwe

During the Easter holidays Mrs. White visited Zimbabwe through her work for the charity Bright Tomorrows. The children at St. Mary's have been very interested in finding out about the children in Zimbabwe and how they live. They made cards for Mrs. White to give to them and also donated some clothes.

At the Spring Term music concert parents kindly raised over £125 for Mrs. White to take out with her. This money is going to be used to pay the fees for two children aged 10 and 8 who have never had the opportunity to go to school.These children are featured in the powerpoint presentation below which was shown to the children in assembly. We intend to maintain our contact with all the children and find out about their progress in the future.
