Contact with the teachers

Parents are welcome to come into the Nursery and Kindergarten  every day.  In both areas they receive an overview every half term outlining details of the curriculum covered.

In Kindergarten, Mrs Peters and Mrs Hart are available, preferably at the end of the day, to speak to parents who wait in the playground for the children to be dismissed.  Laura Freeman (Laura) is also available in Kindergarten to receive messages or answer questions.  Children do not leave the classroom until handed over to a parent or, if previously notified to us, another arrangement is in place.

In Nursery, we try to ensure that at each arrival and departure time a member of staff is available to speak to you individually.  

Sarah Cook (Mrs Cook) or Tracey Baker (Mrs Cook)  see all parents of children leaving at lunchtime and at at the end of the day.   

Towards the end of each term there are afternoons and evenings available for you to come in and discuss your child's progress. 

We do welcome curriculum help and if any parent has special knowledge or a special skill, they are very welcome to lead an activity or help in the classroom.
