St. Mary's School was founded in 1926. It is a fully co-educational day school, catering for children from 3 to 11 years old, set in a residential part of Henley-on-Thames. Small classes of around sixteen children allow the individual to flourish and high academic standards to be achieved in a friendly, caring, enthusiastic and stimulating environment.
Specialist teaching in French, games and music begins at 4 years old. From year 3, science is taught in a purpose built laboratory. Drama, D.T., maths, art, I.T. and English are also taught by specialists. Optional after school clubs include art, drama, games, Japanese, verbal reasoning, music and judo. The school is open from 8:15 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. daily.
